Golf Course
Green Valley Country Club is an 18-hole par 72 golf course located south of Suvarnabhumi Airport, about 40 minutes from Bangkok city.
The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. in 1988, and even now, more than 20 years after the opening, the course is in excellent condition due to thorough maintenance.
Even though the land itself is flat, the entire fairway is filled with subtle undulations, and while there are many straight holes, the turf is changed to increase the number of snake-shaped fairways, increasing the difficulty level. There are few tricky courses, and most of them are straightforward courses, and there is no problem in attacking almost as they look.
Like a historic course, the trees on both sides of the fairway grow thick and high, and if you bend the ball, it becomes a serious hazard and stands in front of the golfer. Rough is shallow and the ball is relatively easy to float, so it is not so difficult. The fairway is wide as a whole and there are many holes where you can take the plunge and hit the driver, making it a course that even beginners to intermediates and advanced players can enjoy playing if they bring the tee behind.
The green has many receiving greens and there are steps, but there is little complicated undulation and the way of bending is straightforward, so it can be said that the bending width is smaller than it looks.
